what is a fanlisting?

"A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join." -- TFL.org

Simply enough, this is a fanlisting for RO's knight class! =)

Ragnarok Online

"One world, one million possibilities."

The above quote has been proven by me especially. To be simply said, Ragnarok Online is a VERY addicting game. Once you start, you will ignore reality; in other words, your free time will be sucked away if you play RO long enough.

Aside for first glances, Ragnarok Online is not the typical senseless hack-and-slash sort of game. Personally, I find the game very fun to play, and the time I spent playing was even more exciting while playing with friends. But if you really want to know what Ragnarok Online is, I suggest you visit the official English Ragnarok Online site, and experience it for yourself!

the knight

In the game, the knight is a 2-1 job class (for more information, I suggest you look at the official site). The knight is very versatile, serving to be strong or quick... or both! (Although, I suggest you stick with one or the other while making your knight; from personal experience a hybrid aka. strong/fast knight wasn't very good.)

The knight's weapons range from one-handed and two handed swords, as well as one-handed and two-handed spears. The knight also has a choice to ride the PecoPeco (somewhat like a horse in RO) after gaining enough skill points. One can also go for the offensive while in the defensive, and the knight is useful in parties (aka. groups of characters out to go hunting, fighting, etc.) as the bait or main use of offense.

my experience

Personally, I absolutely love this class. I find myself enjoying that I sort of have a "duty" in the game, since the knight is an honorable class (I have found, however, the arrogant knight here and there -_-). While I have played iRO, I went around in many different private servers under the name of Sesheta. After testing around a LOT of times, I personally found that a STR/DEX lancer was best for me.

Even though I haven't played in a while, I hope that when summer comes around, I'll be back on the battle grounds dragging a bunch of other RO friends into the game again. XD
